Chinese chives also known as garlic chives have been around for more than 4,000 years and native to southwestern China. As the name implies, they are known for their subtle garlic flavor.

Chives are rich in calcium, copper, iron, magnesium, vitamins A, B, C, K, and zinc. They can be stir fried and consumed as a vegetable or in salad dressings, soups and garnishes. A delicious way to consume them is scrambled with eggs.
