Hair: studies have found that inositol, an ingredient found in rice water, is able to penetrate damaged hair and repair it from the inside out. It even protects hair from future damage. You can use the same rice water topically. It's easiest put in a squeeze bottle if you want to use it on your hair, use it after shampoo and conditioning. Rice water can detangle, smooth, shine and strengthen hair.

To make, use 1 cup of rice to 8-10 cups of water. Rinse rice. Then boil water and rice gently until the rice kernels open up and boil a bit after that. Usually about 30-45 minutes. Strain out rice and you can eat that or use it later. You can drink/use rice water daily.
