Pineapple skin tea

Every part of every fruit and vegetable has a purpose. Pineapple is something I strongly recommend for hypertension and is an amazing blood thinner that actually thins blood due to the powerful enzyme bromelain.

Next time you eat a pineapple, do not throw away the skin. Get a pot of water, add the pineapple skin, bring to boil then simmer for 20 minutes, cool then strain, now add some honey, pour some pineapple skin tea, stir and enjoy. Put any remaining tea into an airtight container and store in fridge. Warm up each time you wish to drink.
