Engage with your emotions

Engaging with and expressing your emotions makes for a free flow of energy (Qi). Every time you think of a negative thought, be aware it’s a negative thought. It won’t prevent you from having these thoughts, but you will slowly become more actively engaged with your emotional state. Once you’ve recognised an emotion, you can take steps to transcend it.
