Hot baths are amazing to recharge and detox the body especially as the weather gets colder. It helps both the body and the mind to unwind, promote circulation, release toxins and invigorate energy, our body's vital life force.
Depending on the ingredients you use, you can take an ordinary bath and add a few things to it and make it medicinal and healing. You may even have all the ingredients already!
Create a bath with water that is as hot as you can comfortably handle it and soak for at least 20 minutes with the below ingredients added. You want to create a bit of a sweat and be hot, but not to the point of feeling uncomfortable.
Depending on your mood you can add a variety of ingredients to enhance circulation, warmth, detoxification and harmony. Epsom salt baths are wonderful for increasing your magnesium levels, while soothing muscles, decreasing swelling and promoting circulation. Ginger power invigorates each cell in the body promoting warmth, detoxification and healing.
If you don't have a bathtub, you can also make a smaller scale soak and just use this on your feet. It is very beneficial for the same reasons to use as a foot soak

1 lemon, sliced
1/2 cup of coconut oil
1/2 cup of epsom salt
1 tablespoon ginger powder
