Coriander seeds


Coriander seeds have been used as a culinary spice for ages. It is either sold a whole or ground with a flavour that is similar to a blend of lemon, sage and caraway. Not only do they have a unique and intriguing flavor, but consuming them has been shown to provide us with many amazing health benefits.


Lower blood sugar: coriander seeds have a blood sugar lowering affect on the human body. They can help stimulate the secretion of insulin and lower blood sugar. They can also improve carbohydrate metabolism and increased hypoglycemic action.


Improve cholesterol levels: by incorporating coriander into your diet you can decrease your levels of bad cholesterol. This also increases your healthy cholesterol.


UTI: coriander seeds are able to relieve symptoms of a urinary tract infection. Simply soak 1.5 teaspoons of dried coriander seeds overnight in 2 cups of water and strain to drink, or add to your morning smoothie. This can help relieve the discomfort and pain associated with UTIs. 


Food poisoning: coriander is a world famous relief for food poisoning. It has strong anti-microbial effects that combat against food borne pathogen's. 


Decreases blood pressure: if you suffer from hypertension, consuming coriander seeds has been shown to reduce blood pressure. It also has a direct effect on the body which is very helpful to ease those who are suffering from high blood pressure. Incorporate coriander seeds into your diet to decrease your risk of serious and deadly conditions such as blood clots and strokes, and so much more......
