Congee for Immunity & Stomach
Put 1/4 cup of rice in 3 cups of water, boil on high for 20 minutes, add spinach at the end, salt to your taste. This is a simple recipe for a delicious meal to enhance immunity and great for Stomach/Spleen.
With congee, you can replace the spinach for spring onion, ginger, kale, absolutely anything you like. Or do not add anything, just have it plain. Or add some herbs if you have them such as astralagus root, cinnamon stick, cloves....
Rice: jasmine, basmati or whatever you have to hand or can get hold of.
Add pepper to assist digestion if required.
During this outbreak, keep things simple for the digestive function for your body is not using too much energy on digesting food. This is something you should be doing at all times.
